Immersion and Spray Pickling of Stainless Steel

Pickling is a chemical surface treatment process used to remove heat tint, oxide scale, and other surface contamination caused by welding, heat treatment, and other manufacturing processes. It also removes the chromium-depleted layer formed beneath the oxide scale, helping restore the stainless steel’s inherent corrosion resistance.
