Thomas Wikberg, CEO at Heimdall Power will present how the use of sensors and weather models for precise dynamic line rating in combination with strong analytics, enables grid companies to meet the challenges of the green transition by optimizing planning and operations of single lines as well as wide network areas. Heimdall Power has several concrete projects and examples of benefits for grid companies using Heimdall Powers solutions.

14.40. SMART Power Boiler – Apps that support you (Voima-stage)

SMART Power boiler service utilizes ANDRITZ Metris BOA environment to build KPI dashboards and operator advisor apps on live and historical data to optimize and analyze power plant processes and monitor the equipment installed. The tailored operation advisor apps will actively support the operator in increasing efficiency of the boiler, detect opportunities to improve consumption values, and help start processes. This shows ANDRITZ steps from digital advisor to digital operator for power boilers to reach the goal of autonomous Power Boiler.

It has been around for years, but is now more than ever a very relevant concept, and at the same time has evolved over time. This presentation aims to show some lessons learned and an alternative approach.
